Did you know that after the homepage, the “About Me/About My Company” page is the second most visited page on your typical small business website? If you’re like me that should be no surprise. When I evaluate another small business as a potential customer, I want to see who I will be dealing with, I want to know more about them.
The typical approach is to write some generic platitudes and boring corporate speak mission statements about what it is they do, why they do it, etc. I am not like that, I have my own voice, I like doing things my own way, I have an irreverent sense of humor, I want you to understand you are dealing with a real person.
So here goes:
My name is Fredo, and I buy houses. More specifically, I help people solve their real estate problems through buying their houses and/or with other solutions specific to their situations. I do that by listening and asking a lot of questions.
Picture this, close your eyes and do it: imagine picking up a stick, then taking that stick and throwing it in any direction. In today’s world, odds are no matter where that stick lands you would hit a realtor (this is a joke, sort of). If you have a pretty, easy to sell house, you’re probably not going to be calling me and that is ok, I do not want you to call me. Call that realtor you hit with that stick.
People call me when they have issues with a house; it is dated, damaged, there are squabbling siblings, late property taxes, and other harder to solve problems that take a lot of time and/or money to overcome.
My wife Shannon and I currently live near the Galleria in Uptown with our beautiful daughter Violet and our dogs Lyla and Daisy. I have spent almost all of my career working in the real estate industry as an agent/broker, house buyer, remodeler, problem solver and investor.
I started buying houses in 2010 with the help of my brother and father. It looked pretty easy on TV right? So we just jumped in, and on our first project, what should have taken two weeks took us three months. It looked much easier on TV!
Needless to say, that one taught me quite a bit and I believe growth and self improvement are continuous processes so I have been at it ever since.
I have worked in almost every aspect of the residential single family real estate business.

I literally HAVE DONE IT ALL, and I am still learning, but I know what I am doing. I wanted to formalize my decade of experience into a company that is transparent and public facing, where I could use my hard earned knowledge to help people solve their problems.
I didn’t want to be another sleazy house buying company that calls and texts from anonymous numbers at all times of the day, or that makes the process more difficult than it needs to be. Those same companies call and text me too with the same unimaginative scripts and boring canned lines. I understand how obnoxious that can be.
I know that selling a house can be stressful and complex, it can be at times even for me and I have bought and sold many of them!
